Open-Plan Living, Maia

Private Residence
Kitchen in fluted walnut with travertine counter, white bar stools and a lit glass-fronted display cabinet

In this residential project in Maia, we designed a fluid space where the kitchen and the living area converse in perfect harmony. The visual statement is made through the walnut-finish cabinetry, featuring a sophisticated glass display cabinet with warm interior lighting that serves as an aesthetic bridge. The imposing beige natural stone island is complemented by elegant high stools, designed with dark frames, brass footrests, and textured upholstery in immaculate bouclé. In the foreground, the comfort of the living room is punctuated by emerald green velvet cushions, proving that quiet luxury resides in the precise balance between the functionality of open spaces and the tactile richness of the materials.
